YES! We will have at least one in-person or virtual meeting prior to birth to get to know each other, go over your birth +/or artwork wishes, and cover any questions you might have!
I try my hardest to make early births if at all possible! 37 weeks just starts my "on-call" time where I limit travel more than a couple of hours away, have my phone on me 24/7, have 24/7 childcare reserved, etc. But if your birth happens prior to that, I do everything in my power to still be there!
Typically I strive to arrive in active labor. we will talk more about what that looks like and when to contact me! Communication is KEY. I will go over when and how to contact me when you think labor might be starting.
I stay for the actual birth, the golden hour afterward, and through baby's measurements/exam. typically 1-2 hours after birth!
I am with you every step of your birth journey, so long as I am permitted by hospital staff.
You will receive one digital sneak peek within 24 hours of birth. I strive to have birth galleries finished within 4 weeks, where you'll receive a full gallery of your birth story in hand-edited images ready for download.
